Florida - OCALA - Marion County sheriff's detectives now have a warrant for an Ocala man they believe beat and shot a Summerfield man at a bar last Thursday.
Investigators obtained a warrant for Mark E. "Mean Mark" Walker, 41, who they say shot Joe Money at 301 South Bar in Belleview.
"After an altercation broke out in the bar parking lot, Walker severely battered another man before shooting him in the face," a Sheriff's Office news release states. Money was taken to Munroe Regional Medical Center and later released.
Detectives say Walker is a member of the America Outlaw Association motorcycle gang.

S.D. - Question baffles motorcyclists, police and lawmakers
RAPID CITY, S.D. -- Brian Gruhn, the "chrome consultant" at Black Hills Harley-Davidson, guesses that 80 percent of those who buy a brand new bike from the dealer don't leave without stopping at his desk to upgrade their exhaust system.
They flip through a book the size of a ranch wife's J.C. Penney catalog and consider the options, which can range from $250 to $1,200.

Montana - Hells Angels…Or Just Angels?
|
|
Donna writes "BY: Keriann Lynch
This weekend, as I drove into the southern end of Kalispell, I heard the distinctive sound of rumbling motorcycle pipes behind me. The sight in my rearview mirror was enough to make even the most macho of men a little nervous: Bikers, riding two abreast and eight deep, clad in black leather, bandannas and one particularly intimidating skull mask, were bearing down fast on my little hatchback. From the looks of their heavily tattooed arms and necks, bulging biceps and piercings, these men probably weren't your middle-aged dad gang playing tough with "the boys."

Hells Angels rolling our way
|

With hundreds of Hells Angels poised to descend on the Garden City this week, Missoula's top law enforcement officials are waiting to exhale.
For Sheriff Mike McMeekin, the apprehension is business as usual.
Angels or no Angels, McMeekin will have his hands full policing western Montana's annually celebrated Testicle Festival, which gets under way Wednesday at the Rock Creek Lodge. This year, the event coincides with the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club's annual USA Run, when about 400 members of the group and their families are expected to ride into Missoula for a gathering that runs Wednesday through Sunday.

STATES GREEN-LIGHT NEW RED-LIGHT LAWS FOR MOTORCYCLES

Donna writes "Motorcyclists in a growing number of states are being allowed to go through
red lights when sensors aren't able to detect they are there.
In May, South Carolina became the seventh state to give motorcyclists
license to proceed with caution after stopping when the device that causes
the light to change from red to green doesn't activate, according to a
recent article in USA Today.

California - Judge says no to Hells Angels 'Death Head' in court
A Sonoma County Superior Court judge Wednesday prohibited Hells Angels motorcycle riders and their supporters from wearing club insignias to court, saying they are intimidating.
Acting on a request from the Sheriff's Department, Judge Ken Gnoss ruled that Mark Guardado Sr., and Jonathan Nelson, cannot wear the "Death Head" symbol that is the group's trademarked logo or red and white clothing that openly promotes the group.

Here’s one the mainstream media isn’t going to tell you: County sheriffs in Wyoming are demanding that federal agents actually abide by the Constitution, or face arrest. Even better, a U.S. District Court agreed according to the Keene Free Press:
The court decision was the result of a suit against both the BATF and the IRS by Mattis and other members of the Wyoming Sheriff’s Association. The suit in the Wyoming federal court district sought restoration of the protections enshrined in the United States Constitution and the Wyoming Constitution.

Hells Angels clubhouse raided in Santa Rosa
|
|
Officers from multiple agencies, led by the Petaluma Police Department, raided Hells Angels clubhouses in Santa Rosa and San Francisco early Wednesday morning, seeking evidence to bolster prosecutions in connection with two beatings last spring.
Petaluma Police Capt. Dave Sears said investigators were seeking evidence to document club membership and criminal connections involving Jonathan Joseph Nelson of Healdsburg and Mark Anthony Guardado of San Francisco, both suspects in the battery cases.
“We’re looking for supporting evidence about who these people are,” Sears said.

Fears of gang violence loom over biker event
|
|
California - Two of California's most prominent outlaw motorcycle gangs are expected to roll into Palm Springs during October's American Heat Palm Springs Motorcycle Weekend, law enforcement officials said.
The Mongols and Vagos Motorcycle Clubs are identified as outlaw motorcycle gangs in the Organized Crime in California Annual Report to the California Legislature 2005 document prepared by the California Department of Justice.
"When you get this event, you have Vagos, Hells Angels, The Green Machine, and when they all come together, they are bitter enemies," Palm Springs Police Chief David Dominguez said. "That's when we have the potential for violence."

Mongols leader freed from lockup
|
|
One day after a Lane County judge sentenced him to a year in jail, the leader of Oregon's Mongols Motorcycle Club was cut loose to make room for more serious criminals.
Justin "Mooch" DeLoretto, 27, walked out of jail Tuesday a free man.
The Mongols president was jailed April 23 after he was accused of trying to run a pair of motorcycle gang investigators off Interstate 5. He remained in jail before and during his trial last week, his bail set impossibly high.

Mongols' leader guilty of misdemeanors in I-5 saga
|

Anonymous writes "The leader of Oregon's Mongols Motorcycle Club intends to fight a prosecutor's plan to stop him from associating with his own members.
A Lane County jury on Thursday found Justin "Mooch" DeLoretto guilty of reckless driving and other misdemeanor charges in an April 23 incident in which he was accused of trying to run two biker-gang investigators off Interstate 5 during rush hour. The jury acquitted DeLoretto of eight felony charges, including conspiracy to commit second-degree kidnapping.
At his sentencing, set for Monday, prosecutors will seek jail time for DeLoretto and then a term of probation, which would include a "no-association" order barring him from contact with the Mongols. DeLoretto, who turns 27 on Sunday and has "Mongols" tattooed on the back of his head, set up Oregon's chapters of the club.

German Biker Gang Members Get Life for Murder

Germany - German Biker Gang Members Get Life for Murder of Rival
A German court sentenced two members of the Bandidos biker gang to life in prison for the murder of a member of the rival Hells Angels as 450 leather-clad bikers roared into the city of Muenster for the trial.
The court in the northern city of Muenster found the men, aged 36 and 48, guilty of the cold-blooded shooting of the 47-year-old motorcycle dealer from the town of Ibbenbueren in May last year.
Some 400 members of the Hells Angels and 50 of the Bandidos were present in Muenster for the final day of the trial. A strong police presence kept the two groups apart.

California - ~Mongols Motorcycle Club president blasts police response~
Police were out in force last week, cracking down on what they called an "outlaw biker gang" that passed through Temecula on its way to a weekend gathering in San Diego County.
But if the Mongols Motorcycle Club is any indication, bikers are working on their image. The Mongols' president, 51-year-old Ruben "Doc" Cavazos, has a New York publicist and a new memoir about his life as a Mongol.
Cavazos said Wednesday that police in Riverside and San Diego counties harassed the group without provocation, stopping Mongols on motorcycles and searching their RVs for contraband.

Judge limits evidence in biker shooting trial
|
|
RAPID CITY, S.D. - RAPID CITY, S.D. Jurors at the trial of two Hells Angels bikers charged with starting a 2006 gunfight will not hear testimony about an earlier altercation involving one of the men and a gun, a judge ruled Tuesday.
Prosecutors accuse Chad Wilson, 32, of Lynnwood, Wash., and John Midmore, 34, of Valparaiso, Ind., of shooting at Outlaws bikers on Aug. 8, 2006, at Legion Lake Resort in Custer State Park. The Outlaws gathered there for the Sturgis motorcycle rally 70 miles away.
Wilson is a Canadian citizen and Midmore has dual citizenship in Canada and Australia.
Their trial is scheduled to start Oct. 6. Defense lawyers plan to decide within weeks whether to request the trial be moved from Rapid City.

TEMECULA: Task force targets outlaw biker gang
|
|
TEMECULA ---- At least 15 suspected members of the Mongols motorcycle gang were arrested Friday as part of a crackdown on bikers traveling through the area for a nationwide gathering at the La Jolla Indian Reservation, authorities said.
Sheriff's deputies and other law enforcement officers working as part of a 60-person task force stopped motorcycle riders on Interstate 15 and on side streets throughout the Temecula area on Friday for vehicle code violations, according to Temecula police Chief Jerry Williams.
The largest such stop occurred about 1:45 p.m., when several officers attempted to pull over 14 bikers heading south on I-15 near the San Diego County border, Williams said. After they refused to pull over, they were arrested on suspicion of failing to yield and their bikes were impounded, he added.
